Jake Snyder

My name is Jake Snyder and I am running to be your Representative-at-Large on CU Boulder Student Government. I am currently a freshman majoring in History and Economics.

I grew up in a suburb of Seattle, Washington, and attend Mercer Island High School. In high school, I took leadership positions in the Chess Club, Unified Sports (a program designed to support Special Olympics), and volunteered for many other organizations.

I love to hike, ski, play basketball, chess, and football. I enjoy all types of involvement in the community. If you ever see me walking, you can always talk sports with me.

I want to make the school better and I have ideas on how to do that. I believe during these times, WI-FI is one of the most important tools we need as students. I am committing to improving the school WI-FI, whatever it takes. As a freshman living on campus, I can observe the faults of this school on a daily basis. I believe the students of CU Boulder need a representative who will commit to making their lives better with actual promises.

I will work for each and every student attending CU to make it a better school for all!
